How do I become a Member of the Court?

Youth Court volunteers are between 14 and 20 years of age and can be a student from any school in Jefferson County to include local colleges.

Youth Court training is typically held in the fall and is quite extensive. Attendance at all training hours is mandatory and entails 25 hours of traditional classroom instruction, group work, role-play and court observation. Volunteers must successfully pass a Bar Exam in order to be considered.
